The rapid proliferation of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) is pushing Counter-UAS (C-UAS) beyond isolated, “plug-and-play” capabilities toward integrated air defense architectures. Effective C-UAS, particularly for U.S. homeland defense, requires seamless integration across existing civil and military infrastructure.

This session explores the end-to-end architecture needed to detect, track and defeat modern autonomous threats, including:

  • Multi-modal sensor fusion: Correlating disparate sensor feeds to build a reliable picture of the threat environment
  • Threat classification and tracking: Rapidly identifying threats and establishing precise tracking across distributed nodes
  • Command and decision-making: Prioritizing threats and enabling low-latency decision-making
  • Weapon scheduling and fire control: Optimizing kinetic and non-kinetic effectors for effective engagement

Gain insight into the systems-engineering challenges of building a collaborative, continuously evolving air defense ecosystem capable of adapting to tomorrow’s threats.
